Returns and Refunds & Warranty Policy
Model Train Technology is the Manufacturer of the products we sell. We are not a Dealer or Distributor and we keep very low inventories. We adjust the manufacturing process according to order type and volume. To join the manufacturing queue you must purchase the items you want and your credit card will be charged upon checkout now, not when the item ships.
Shipping time is in ADDITION to Order Processing.
ONE YEAR MANUFACTURER WARRANTY: We warrant our products to be free from defects in workmanship and materials, under normal residential use and conditions, for a period of one (1) year from the original invoice date. Shipping and handling fees are to be paid for by the customer.
REFUNDS: Refunds are permitted up to 14 days from date receipt as confirmed by the shipping records. The returned product will be evaluated for wear and tear, and depending on the condition of the product, and at the sole discretion of the company, a refund may be issued for the product (not including shipping).
Order to Ship pace is usually 10-12 working days.
Due to the volume and manufacturing delays in January due to weather, we are about 14 days behind.
Speed Sticks usually ship in 2-3 days
Shipping to Canada
For reasons we don’t completely know, shipping to Canada has been problematic. It’s slow and expensive. And that is without considering duties/tariffs.
THEREFORE, we will ship to Canada via FEDEX only. When you check out the shipping will show a FLAT RATE. This is an ESTIMATE.
When we know the actual shipping cost, we will contact you and let you know if the shipping is more (usually) or less (sometimes).
For the same reason, our WARRANTY POLICY for Canada does NOT INCLUDE return shipping.
