Our Gate Crossing is made in the US with metal and 3D printed parts. 3D parts can be brittle. Handle with care.
All Model Train Technology Gate Controllers included an embedded DCC receiver so the gate can be activated by a DCC switch command. DCC IS NOT NECESSARY to operate the Gate Controllers. Its simply included as an option at no additional cost.
The Gate Controller and any other connected device like Precision Detectors and the Bell and Sound Modules run on 12VDC.
Mounting brackets are included at no additional charge when purchasing this package.

Installed and works as designed. I mounted through 1” of foam over 1/2 inch of plywood. I used the 3/4 inch mount and just adjusted the piano wire to match the depth needed. Watch the videos because there are many helpful tips. The pinwheel on the side of the controller makes the adjustment of the arms easier – although it did take about four to five tries to get it perfect. I had tried other system on previous layout and was never successful. This system works well.
